I've read that a bit. Interesting that the older black and brown people at the watch party I was at felt the same way (my family is interracial). So you think it's demographic was younger teenagers?

I bet most people over 35 either don’t know who Kendrick Lamar is or don’t care.

The Dr. Dre / Snoop / Eminem / 50 cent performance awhile back had broader appeal. This sounded like mumble rap to me and the whole show felt lackluster, but then again I’m old. I thought the girl that looked kinda like Beyoncé had a good voice and did alright.

Kendrick Lamar is almost 40 and has been performing since 2003. He was in that show with Eminem and all them.

I know who he is and most the people I was with did as well. I know about his beef with Drake enough to have seen the headlines (mostly from Barstool sports). We all just thought it was terrible. I'll attribute it to being an older more conservative crowd, even if we had 2 black people and 3 hispanics. We're very DEI in my house. When it's convenient I mean.

Better than some others I've seen. I saw a guy that said he has never heard of the guy and has complained about them not picking known artists as Superbowl halftime show headliners anymore.

If only there was some resource to which we could refer to find out whether or not a particular singer is well known..

Wait. Are you thinking what I'm thinking? Somebody should make a weekly list!
