What makes this even less palpable is Joe Biden repeatedly told to the public, to the point he proactively went out of his way to make lying statements, that he would not. I suspect at least part of the motivation to pardon his son is about saving his own ass. Joe Biden, and now by extension the Democrat party, has lost all credibility.

I think most men at the end of their life care about their own legacy, but I have no idea with Joe Biden. Beyond Biden, this a reflection on the Democrat Party & really tarnishes all politicians regardless of political affiliation.

We went from Papa Bush losing his 2nd term election because he lied to the public about raising taxes to this & accepting it as normal behavior from the President of the United States.

I don’t disagree. What doesn’t make much sense to me is he went out of his way to repeatedly tell the public he wouldn’t. Why? What advantage did that buy him? I guess the perception that he & the Democrats were honest, just, and cared about American interests before the election?
