These are the same people that will take a quote like this and blow it out of proportion...

Then tell you them calling Trump, "Hitler", is perfectly fine... because, yea... it's just "hyperbole"...

The "Left" are fucking nuts. Sooner everyone realizes it, better off we are. The "rules" only apply depending on their (the "Lefts") position on it. Principles and standards no longer apply.

According to tgo01, as long as ONE person has the education, no one else needs to have one!
    You’re overthinking it.

If Grandma can’t watch them just give them a key to the house and a bicycle. Tell them to play outside with the other neighborhood kids but be home before the street lights turn on. Worked for us. The strong shall survive.

You really think the answer to that is grandparents?! lol? Yes please make that a policy.

Please make it a government policy that grandparents have to watch their grandkids while their parents at work. Who the fuck cares, if they are still working themselves, don’t want to, have their own lives, don’t want to move, etc etc. People won’t have to pay for daycare, it’s FREE!!

My mom watches my child, spends a weekend with her every few months, or when my wife and I have something to celebrate like an anniversary.

My mom, taking care of my son while I’m at work, is not her responsibility, nor would I ever ask her to do that. I’m not Gen Z, where I pass my responsibilities onto others.

You think it's perfectly normal for strangers to raise and take care of your kids.

Know what's more normal than literally anything else in the history of both mankind and animalkind? Raising your own fucking kids. Perhaps you should try that, like people and (most) animals have done for the entire existence of the planet and still do to this day.

Stop pawning your kids off on daycare workers.

"Waah waah but I want dual income life!"

Yeah well you can't have both, so figure out which is more important and pick one. Which is more important? Your kids being raised by their actual parents instead of a bunch of loser strangers who don't actually give a fuck about them? Or dual income so you can try to impress your friends with a bigger house or a boat or some shit and post on the internet about being an international man of mystery?

Life is about choices, priorities, and sacrifices. And tacos. And boobs. And you're willing to sacrifice your kids formative years (or maybe you have teenagers that you send to daycare too, in which case just stop unless you want them to turn out like ClydeR) by letting strangers raise them instead of being raised by their own parents, in favor of either you or your wife bringing home that second paycheck.

    Also...

I’m not Gen Z, where I pass my responsibilities onto others.
You're literally passing your parental responsibilities onto daycare workers. The fact that you're paying them for it doesn't change any of that.

Odd thought... something I hadn't thought about in over 40 years...

Do local YMCA's no longer do weekend overnights for kids? I remember going to those - you'd get dropped off around 4-5 on a Friday, and get picked up 1-2 on a Saturday. Something like 150-200 kids, sleeping bags on the gym floor, stacks of pizza, bring whatever sports equipment you want... I just recall the staff making sure no one died for the most part... The rest of the time it was just kids all having a blast.

I take it not done anymore? To much liability these days?

Man, recalling that brought back some good memories.

Can any of the dumb fuck conservatives still worshipping Trump explain how his mega-tariffs will fix child care, because Trump can't.

I 100% do not have a problem placing tariffs on goods from countries that have human rights violations.

    This is 100% inaccurate.

Most grandparents WANT to watch their grandkids. I'm sorry that is not the case in your family.. I have no experience with not having a loving family to be around.

Most Russians can’t afford their own homes, and property is passed down, they live together because they have no choice. The pension system in Russia is roughly $200 a month. It’s almost impossible for a Russian from any city to move to Moscow or SPB, where you can actually have a better future.
We probably shouldn't use Russia as the gold standard of family care.
