Trump claims to have flight records showing that he was on a helicopter with Willie Brown that nearly crashed. In the video at the bottom of this post, Brown says it never happened. Don't you think Brown would remember being on a helicopter that made an emergency landing? I predict Trump will never produce the records.
Former President Donald J. Trump on Friday afternoon vehemently maintained that he had once been in a dangerous helicopter landing with Willie Brown, the former mayor of San Francisco, and insisted he had records to prove it, despite Mr. Brown's denial.
In an angry phone call to a New York Times reporter as he landed several hours away from his planned rally in Bozeman, Mont., because of a mechanical issue on his plane, Mr. Trump excoriated The Times for its coverage of his meandering news conference on Thursday at Mar-a-Lago, his private club and home, during which he told of an emergency landing during a helicopter trip that he said both he and Mr. Brown had made together.
More..."We have the flight records of the helicopter," Mr. Trump insisted Friday, saying the helicopter had landed "in a field," and indicating that he intended to release the flight records, before shouting that he was "probably going to sue" over the Times article.
When asked to produce the flight records, Mr. Trump responded mockingly, repeating the request in a sing-song voice. As of early Friday evening, he had not provided them.
Mr. Trump has a history of claiming he will provide evidence to back up his claims but ultimately not doing so.
Trump isn't letting go of the helicopter story, posting twice about it on social media..
In the FAKE NEWS story done by the Failing New York Times on Willie Brown and his little helicopter ride with me many years ago, there were “Logs,” Maintenance Records, and Witnesses. There was also a story on “Willie and Me.” Why can’t the Radical Left Failing New York Times write accurately, and fairly, on me - See following TRUTH! I only have one major goal in life, and that is to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! Wouldn’t that be a good thing for the New York Times. Think of it, THEY COULD BE GREAT AGAIN!Two Failing New York Times “reporters” questioned my story about a forced landing of a helicopter, in a field, with former Mayor of San Francisco, Willie Brown, and others. First of all, it was in New Jersey, not California, and it was Willie Brown, not former Governor Jerry Brown. So far they are about as accurate as they are with their other stories about me. At least when I became President, the NYT apologized to their readers for their REALLY BAD REPORTING ON THE PRESIDENTIAL RACE. They’ll probably have to do that again, much as Maggot Hagermann should apologize for her Fake & Fraudulent writing on the Russia, Russia, Russia HOAX, along with many other of her poorly written and badly researched stories. In an article dated April 15, 2011, “His Willieness dishes about his good buddy Donald Trump. I remember one time Trump sent his private jet to Boston to pick me up.” He’s just angling for another ride in Trump’s jet (helicopter!). But now Willie doesn’t remember? No, he remembers!
I don't even know who Willie Brown is.

A former Trump employee who was on the helicopter in question says Willie Brown was not there..
Barbara Res, the Trump Organization’s former executive vice president of construction and development, on Saturday disputed former President Donald Trump’s account that he rode with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown in a helicopter that had to make an emergency landing in the 1990s.
More...“Donald was terrified,” Res said, “and after the whole thing was over, he was joking with Nate Holden, who happens to be a Black man, and he said, ‘Nate, you turned white.’”
