Just an FYI: International students, scholars, and employees are able to obtain a US Social Security Number.
It’s not just citizens that get one.

I’m not sure if you are trying to connect that having an SSN means you are allowed to vote, because if you are, it’s just false.

An ITIN is not a SSN.

I’m aware? But where in my post or the post I quoted was an ITIN mentioned? Because they aren’t the same, not all foreign nationals are allowed to get a SSN, and they created the ITIN in 96 I think, to help the ones that don’t qualify for an SSN to pay taxes and what not.

My wife has a SSN, not an ITIN, she’s not allowed to vote.

Gotcha. You would know more on that subject than me so I’ll take your word for it. I mentioned ITIN because it looks like a SSN and has the same number of digits, but it’s just a way for the IRS to do this to foreigners:

Yeah they are quite similar, biggest difference is one is issued by the IRS and the other by the SSA, which you knew. We applied for her SSN when she did her immigrant visa. Usually you need a DHS EAD to apply for an SSN if you are getting one for work, but there are ways around it supposedly.

He didn't say getting a SSN means you are allowed to vote.

A government agency determined that he was allowed to vote by issuing a voter ID card.

Perhaps one day you'll come to realize your country has a tax system which requires all of those living and working in the United States to pay taxes.

I never said otherwise. The IRS collects tax revenue even on stolen property, bribes, & other illegal activity. Joe Biden owes the IRS a lot of money.

More than the $100M estimated to be what Trump will owe upon the conclusion of his ongoing IRS audit?
