Interesting things from the first day of the Trump hush money trial..

• The judge granted Trump's request that the prosecution should not be allowed to mention that Melania was pregnant while Trump was cheating on her. Of course, Trump denies that he was cheating at all. Even so, he does not want it mentioned that she was pregnant at the time.
  
  
• The judge refused Trump's request that Trump be allowed to skip some court days. Unlike in civil trials, in a criminal case the accused is required to attend unless excused by the judge.
  
  
• Trump, who often calls Biden "Sleepy Joe," fell asleep with his mouth wide open during the first days of the trial.

Trump says he sleeps just four hours a day, and anybody -- probably including you -- who sleeps more is lazy.

“You know, I’m not a big sleeper, I like three hours, four hours, I toss, I turn, I beep-de-beep, I want to find out what’s going on,” he said in 2016, according to the Chicago Tribune.

You can bet all eyes will be on Trump on Tuesday for any signs of further drowsiness.

“Anytime we fall asleep in a stressful situation, those are indications that your brain is prioritizing it,” Dr. Chris Winter, neurologist and sleep expert, said of the court.

“We live in a society where an individual who is able to fall asleep quickly and anywhere is a great sleeper. But someone who is able to fall asleep in jury selection is really someone who is at great risk and not an excellent sleeper.
