I recall hearing or reading that it was a taser and not a gun. Point taken, but these climate activists make it an absolute pain in the ass to remove them and their barricades from the road. They need negative consequences to correct their socially unacceptable bad behavior.

Edit to add: As much as I despise these people’s actions, I too don’t want to see any of them severely injured. They should rough them up a little during the arresting process though.

Sometimes people get hurt in law enforcement activities because they made it impossible for the officers to do their job without injury to occur. Policing a civilized society shouldn't be hampered by wily individuals trying to farm lawsuits.

I've mixed feelings about it. Like those losers totally deserved it, but I'd also want some restraint in LEOs where they aren't ramming cars when they feel like it. He could have effectively done the same thing by driving up and arresting everyone, then safely moving the crap. If the woman chained herself more securely to the trailer, she might have been hurt very badly or killed.

I’ve been thinking, what if Seran suffers from a severe case of Asperger’s Syndrome? Do we know? I bet if he had it he wouldn’t tell us since he perceives us as his mortal enemies that would use that against him or some shit like that. If I knew he did suffer from a real medical illness vs being perfectly able & choosing to be ignorant, I’d feel a little bad about making fun of him all the time. I mean, I’d still call him out on his retarded posts when they happen, but I wouldn’t berate him as much as I do.

Yeah I see your point and know what you mean. Hell…I have adult ADHD and therefore suffer from mental illness. I’m sure a lot of people have something like PTSD or depression or fill in the blank. That’s not what I mean though. What if Seran had a mental illness so terrible that if we physically saw him it would be immediately obvious that he is unable to function in society? And then, what if Seran has that condition but he uses the PC to practice socially interacting with other human beings (but still fails miserably most of the time)? If those conditions were true, I could no longer take enjoyment from ridiculing his stupidity.

Seran: Chime in here. Do you suffer from a severe mental illnesses to the extent that you are legally disabled & deemed incapable of being a self functioning member of society? If so, just say something like the Nazis would have thrown me in the same camp with the Jews & communists due to my condition if you don’t want to divulge any specifics.
