I have to agree with others criticism here. You may find it extremely distasteful what Trump posted, but was it a threat? According to the FBI: If someone communicates any statement or indication of an intention to inflict pain, injury, damage, or other hostile action in an illegal manner, to include in a manner that manipulates the US legal system, that's a threat. To say you are going after someone that is going after you is isn’t specific enough or implying illegal action.
Why does that matter? Forget Trump for a moment and think about your 1st Amendment rights. Whatever they do to him here the government can do the same to you (or someone you like). Our constitutionally protected right to speak out against government & speech that includes uncomfortable and/or insulting is a big part of what separate a free society from enslaved one. As a liberal, I know that is important to you just as it is to me.

"Pfizer awaits approval of new COVID-19 booster as hospitalizations rise"
"New data shows COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations are on the rise. At the same time, a new COVID-19 booster to combat current variants of the virus could be approved by the end of this month."
Election cycle coming up!... get ready.
How many of those were done right after a court appearance? Where the defendant makes a veiled threat? If the judge issues a protective order, then obviously he and others agree it is what it is, a veiled threat.
The first amendment, doesn’t apply when threats are issued. Once again this was a veiled threat, not a direct threat, issued right after a defendant appeared before a judge. While others that Rocktar mentioned were veiled threats, the situations are completely different.
“If you come after me, I’ll come after you” is a classic example of a veiled threat. Because of the conditional clause that is used, and the vagueness of the consequences.
“If you don’t do what I say, I’ll burn your house down” is a direct threat.
“If you don’t do what I say, it’ll be a shame if something were to happen to your house” is an example of a veiled threat.
“If you come after me, I’ll come after you” is a veiled threat.
You are implying a consequence from an action. The key difference is plausible deniability.
Imagine you witnessed a crime and the person saw you and said “if you go to the police, I’ll come after you” you would take that as a threat, not distasteful speech.

Look at you dismissing much more clear and present threats to life and limb, one of which resulted in an assassination attempt. Piss off you hypocrite.
OH, and judges issue orders all the time for meaningless bullshit just like indictments are issued all the time for baseless bullshit.
I can't wait for the election interfearance charges to come.

Look at Solkern, willing to sacrifice everyones freedom of speech because he has a mangina.
Let's pretend his statement was a threat of violence. Is he not then saying that anyone that commits violence against him will be met with violence?
For this to even make since and be an actual threat of violence, does he not have a right to defend himself against violence?
This how you know you're being a dishonest crybaby.

Do you know what a veiled threat is? Because that’s what it is.
I like how you only associate “coming after” as violence. You do know you can come after someone in court right?
You do know if he wins presidency, he can come after their jobs and torpedo their careers right?
You do know threats don’t only deal with violence right?
You know like, “if you tell anyone, you’ll lose your job.”. That’s a threat that has no violence in it.
But I can tell you can’t think outside of the basic scope of what you think.
