In that sense, according to your reference, the tax is regressive because $60 is a greater portion of the poor man’s income. Now rub together your last 2 remaining brain cells to think what a 6% income tax means to each. The rich man pays more than the poor man, but it’s proportionally equal. Got it?

SP is advocating a flat income tax which according to the IRS will regressively take more money from those who make less, while effectively cutting the tax bills of people who will still be making 90% of the money. That's a regressive system, one I don't see happening to federal income taxes in our country. Keep dreaming.

Progressive = wealthy pay larger share of taxes
Regressive = poorer pay larger share of taxes

If you tax everyone at the same percentage of their income, that is proportional (AKA flat tax). I don’t know how else to explain that to you and I can’t argue with your stupidity…

Your table for the top 50% equals 72.6%, with the bottom 50% included it equals 77.1%. Try finding a source that even sums up there percentages paid by individual taxpayers correctly before you post again.
