Ahh, good point and I share your skepticism with our government as they have a track record of consistently lying to the public.

I haven’t played flip cup or beer pong in I can’t remember how long, but used to be great at that in my 20s. These days I may have one single beer or margarita if I’m out with my family for dinner or grilling by the pool. #dadlife

SEOUL (Reuters) - American and South Korean guards shouted "get him" as they scrambled unsuccessfully to stop U.S. Army soldier Travis King from sprinting into North Korea, a New Zealand woman who was on the same tour to the border area said on Wednesday.

"It all happened pretty quickly," said Sarah Leslie, who was in the Joint Security Area (JSA) of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) with some 40 other tourists who were walking around and taking photos in the moments before King made a mad dash to nuclear-armed and reclusive North Korea.

According to NK News, a witness on the same tour saw a male member of her group run across the border as they visited the JSA.

“To our right, we hear a loud HA-HA-HA and one guy from OUR GROUP that has been with us all day- runs in between two of the buildings and over to the other side!!” Mikaela Johansson of Sweden wrote. “It took everybody a second to react and grasp what had actually happened, then we were ordered into and through Freedom House and running back to our military bus.”

I guess all the witnesses work for the US government and can’t be trusted, because they are the ones giving us this “story” as well.

If the story we are told is actually the truth, then it's Mr. King's problem, not the US Government's. He chose to make this decision and should live (or die) by the consequences.

I 100% agree with you. If he did in fact willfully and purposely run to North Korea, I don’t think we should spend any effort to try and get him back.

Everyone.. leftists, far right, moderates, Republicans, Democrats, Independants, etc... should watch our government officials and be wary of them.

RFK Jr. is a registered Democrat running for President, who was brought in by Republicans to talk about government censorship.

Now I couldn't tell you 2 platform things about RFK Jr. to be honest... he's a Democrat.. which makes me believe we don't agree on much as far as politics.. but what our government did to him and others is unacceptable in a free society. And it wasn't just this administration either.. it was also under Trump.

there is no way of knowing that his participation in the U.S army didn't mess up his mind and drive him to be irrational though.
