Yeah, it’s not like we don’t have the ability to mass produce the things we need quickly.

Batteries integral to the missile itself.

All the ones made prior to last year actually have a part that is no longer being made so production is shifting a bit on them anyways. Probably why it has never been a big deal to just give them away. Hell, the missiles only cost 38 grand each.

We are increasing production to 60 missiles a month, which will include a slight redesign, which just shows how small the demand for them was.

One would hope that there would be a remanufacturing process to refresh them. Of course my issue is the electronics in them isn't anything more complex than a smartphone so seriously, they ought to drop in price.

They are very cheap compared to other military items. It’d probably cost more to get that program going than to just make new ones.

DONALD TRUMP HAS boasted that if he were president again, he could end Russia’s war with Ukraine. “I will have that war settled in one day, 24 hours,” he has said. But Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky called bull****, saying that Trump already had his chance to end Vladimir Putin’s aggression against his country.

“It seems to me that the sole desire to bring the war to an end is beautiful,” Zelensky said during an interview on ABC’s This Week Sunday after host Martha Raddatz played a clip of Trump’s brag. “But this desire should be based on some real-life experience. Well, it looks as if Donald Trump had already these 24 hours once in his time. We were at war, not a full-scale war, but we were at war, and as I assume, he had that time at his disposal, but he must have had some other priorities.”

Zelensky added that Trump’s idea of ending the war might be for Ukraine to cede some of its land to Russia. “If we are talking about ending the war at the cost of Ukraine, in other words to make us give up our territories, well, I think, in this way, Biden could have brought it to an end even in five minutes, but we would not agree,” he said.

That wasn't a smart thing for Zelensky to say. Trump might be elected President again. If he is, he will remember that statement and will change US policy because of it.

After the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, Biden had to give his constituents in the military-industrial complex an alternative ongoing conflict that they may profit from. Peace in Ukraine is bad for business.

Only cementing the bipartisan belief that Trump acts like a thug and has no foreign policy credibility whatsoever unless it's heeding the demands of Russia or North Korea.

Oh I thought this would be about how we are sending more money and munitions to Ukraine. You know, at a rate greater than any other war.
