I've been working since I was 12-13 .. but it wasn't because my parents forced me to work, it was because I wanted money to buy things.
Not everyone is a lazy piece of shit like you. Some people would rather go out and earn their money.. rather than be a ward of the state on their mother's couch.
If it's a Texas school and it has only 33 or whatever seniors it's in the bum fuck of no where, everywhere in DFW all graduating class sizes are well over 600. Truancy and attendance were a thing when I graduated in high school in 03 I ended up paying like 500$ in fines and my dad paid 500$ in fines(i paid 1000$) in fines for skipping school. It had nothing to do with grades they just needed your ass in the chair for the money.
That being said when they had you grade your peers math or read the person next to you essay in a pass back or right fashion. There were a lot of idiots then too.
California leads the pack with the worst graduation rate in the nation.
Also
I fucking hated the labor laws when I was 14, I wanted my own damn money at that age and you couldn't work. Detasseling corn and spraying beans was the only option at 14. It was the first time I ever made $500 of my own cash and I was elated.
The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane. ~ Marcus Aurelius“It's a beautiful thing, the destruction of words.”

“The urge to shout filthy words at the top of his voice was as strong as ever.”

You are blessed to have parents that still care for you and didn't force you to work. They probably knew you weren't ready for the real world and have sheltered you from it.
Of course, your parents are probably the biggest reason why you are now a ward of the state, still living on their couch and being this fucking retarded.
So you take the good with the bad.
