As expected, Leftist whiner calls someone irrational and so on because they have a counter position and do not change it in the face of idiot Leftist whining. Seriously, why would a person, with a rational, logical and well reasoned position, change or review such a position in the face of farcical opinion shit pieces from the Left?

I don't know what's more humorous, you complaining that I don't use and agree with your version of logic or the fact that you seem to think that your position and arguments are based in anything even remotely based in logic.

    People keep asking him that.

He's proven he is that stupid for almost 20 years now... but people just don't believe it.

Newsweek is reporting today that the real reason for the search was that the FBI discovered that Trump had a secret stash of government documents that he had been collecting for years, that was even separate from the 11 sets of classified documents they retrieved.

Apparently an informant (there's some speculation that it was someone on his legal team) told the FBI about the secret stash and that Trump has no intention to give them back.

Ultimately, the biggest concern was that they had evidence Trump was actually looking to "weaponize" it- for political and/or personal gain.

There is a reason why they ended up with his passports. He was holding that stash in his safe.

I know this won't change any minds. The forgone conclusion among Trump supporters is that he's always innocent and perpetually a victim.

But be honest with yourselves- 24 hours before this happened, could you imagine yourself being okay with a private citizen hiding classified government documents from the Federal government with the intention of publicly releasing and/or selling it?

If the honest answer is no- then you know you're the one who is biased

I just... again, all supposition... and you just blatantly believe it... and call others biased? Here let me help you...

"They collected everything that rightfully belonged to the U.S. government but the true target was these documents that Trump had been collecting since early in his administration," says the source, who was granted anonymity to discuss sensitive issues." - Not verified, hence supposition - anonymous source - History of "anonymous sources" being 100% wrong when reported on, with retractions later - So, Hearsay.

"The sought-after documents deal with a variety of intelligence matters of interest to the former president, the officials suggest..." - Again, supposition. Not verified - So, Hearsay.

"Over the past 18 months, the Trump camp and the Archives were engaged in a back-and-forth which resulted in the return of 15 boxes (and some additional documents). As late as June 3, when officials from the FBI and Justice visited Mar-a-Lago to serve a Grand Jury subpoena for specific documents, these negotiations were largely cordial." - Fact - Supported through NARA documents

"...a confidential human source revealed that the former president wasn't planning to divulge that he had possession of some of his own documents and that he did not intend to return them." - Again... supposition. Accusation not substantiated with evidence at this point. So, hearsay or potentially lying to the Government - Which again, there is already precedent of the DOJ/FBI lying and doctoring evidence to secure an illegal warrant against Trump.

"As a result, we now know, some 42 boxes of documents were shipped to Mar-a-Lago by mistake..." - FACT that is verifiable due to NARA correspondence - you know, actual documentation.

"People familiar with the investigation did not offer additional details, such as whether the documents being sought involved weapons belonging to the United States or another nation." - Supposition - Speculation - Not a verifiable fact

"The two U.S. officials with direct knowledge of the situation tell Newsweek that while some of the intelligence documents might have dealt with nuclear weapons, that was not the main focus." - Supposition - Speculation - Should scare the shit out of you... if nuclear codes aren't of the main concern, what in the fuck could be? - But they're reporting (again speculation) that the DOJ and FBI didn't care about them???? It was all a "COVER" to get to something else???

That is the fucking RED FLAG of all RED FLAGs.

Now to the crux... again - this is THEM saying it... Not me... So what were they looking for???

""Trump was particularly interested in matters related to the Russia hoax and the wrong-doings of the deep state," one former Trump official tells Newsweek. "I think he felt, and I agree, that these are facts that the American people need to know." The official says Trump may have been planning to use them as part of a 2024 run for the presidency."

    Huh... interesting.

Now again... not me saying it... them reporting about themselves...

"The high-level U.S. government officials explain that it was not necessarily the classification level of the documents nor even their subject matter that investigators were focused on."

So they didn't even care about classified documents.... THEY JUST SAID THAT WASN'T THEIR CONCERN, but instead how he "might use information regarding the "deep state"... See where this is going?

I could keep going... but do you even know how to read? Someone asked me earlier - why I care if people know/apply the definitions of words properly... This is a perfect example.

This won't change your mind, because you're... how did you say? Biased.

I hate having to break this shit down barney style. If anything, this article lends more and more credence to negligent and political targeting of Trump than any previously. No idea how you read this article and think it in any way helps the current administrations case one bit.

P.S. ""People are too focused on sensitivity and not the law," says the other official. It is what they knew (or believed) about Donald Trump's plans that prompted the search now." - Know why they put that (believe) in the article? - So they can't be sued to hell and highwater after this is all done... they can't verify anything that was "known"... even though they'll use the term "known"... but then immediately after put (believe)... it gets people like you to overlook the FACTS - and assume what the Government tells you is correct. Pretty smart move by Newsweek to cover their asses like that.

But the Bible is definitely tells us a fetus is a person, right?

This strategy of dismissing any contradictory information as made up immediately and then never getting around to fact checking may help you maintain your world view, but it's tearing this country apart. At some point, we need you to come back and start dealing with reality.
