Want badass chicks, doing badass shit, without being a "check the box"... write a good story, get good actors for the role (regardless of race) and actually do it without saying it.

It's like they went stupid and forgot one of, if not the most, iconic female badass actresses in the world - Sigourney Weaver. Know why it was so amazing? Because 1. she was awesome and 2. the audience didn't have to be told prior to it's release that she was awesome. She just WAS.

The people the "woke crowd" try to denigrate as not being "inclusive enough" are fucking morons and use such bullshit to ruin amazing universes created by good writers/thinkers. Current developers sorely lack any true talent it seems.

Hell, they practically forgot about Blade - when talking about Marvel needs more blah blah blah.. no one cared about a black actor - they cared that he was authentic to the material and was badass in the process.

Only real good shows can think of in past few years - true to the tenor of the source material - was Bosch and the more recent Reacher. Can't think of much else they don't play fuck fuck games with.

“The government cannot possibly show that forcing private insurers to provide PrEP drugs, the HPV vaccine, and screenings and behavioral counseling for STDs and drug use free of charge is a policy of such overriding importance that it can trump religious-freedom objections,” the lawsuit reads.
