You realize the lengths you go to in order to avoid having to actually address what Trump and the GOP did?
All of you do it actually- it's kind of astounding. You talk in circles and change the subject because none of you wants to be in the position of having to actually defend what he did.
Our Capitol was under attack by at least two violent white nationalist extremist groups who were there to stop the certification of the election and who were searching for the Vice President of the United States of America and Congress chanting things like "Hang Mike Pence". And Trump refused to tell them to stop. He made absolutely no move to defend our Capitol, Congress, or his own VP. And when he was finally forced to make a statement hours later, he told the armed militia groups who were hunting down the VP and members of Congress and killing cops in the process that they were great people and that he loved them.
Oh, and did I mention they were only in DC because he told them to come? And that members of his campaign were in talks with these violent white nationalist extremist groups? AND that Trump pointed them to the Capitol building at exactly the time when they were certifying the election results and told them this was their last chance to take back their country and to fight like hell. And he knew for a fact that violent white nationalist extremist militia groups were in the crowd.
And you all will do *anything* to avoid having to acknowledge that and actually say "That seems like exactly what a sitting US President should be doing".
