I think the Democrats realize what a losing strategy focusing on the January 6th peaceful protests has been. Really nobody outside of far leftists cared about it even in the days immediately following January 6th, and less than a month later even they didn't care anymore.

Now they have wasted almost a year and a half on this dumb shit that no one cares about while the country crumbles around them.
