So nice of you to parse that statement Mr Helper. For passager vehicles, the number of registered vehicles on the road increased by 4% between 2018 and 2021. 3.7% is the specific increase of pickups, vans, sports utility, commercial trucks or other medium/heavy vehicles. So yes, there are more vehicles on the road, we can quibble over what constitutes a lot. But demand is up, production is down. Period.

But oil production isn't down, no matter how often you claim it was.. no matter how many threads you make titled "US Oil Producers Fail To Produce"

Also, do you have a source for 4% increase in vehicles? In 2018, there were 273,602,100 on the road. In 2 years, that number climbed 2.3 million cars. And you are saying that in 1 year (from 2020 to 2021) the number of cars grew by it's largest number ever: 8.6 million cars... during a pandemic and supply issues?

Oil prices are dropping, so why aren’t gas prices? Corporate greed

Last Monday, U.S. benchmark West Texas Intermediate oil prices briefly dipped down to $94 a barrel, marking its lowest level since late February. The last time a barrel of oil cost that much, the national average for a gallon of regular was just over $3.50. Yet today it remains as high as $5 in some states.

When the cost of oil spikes, gasoline prices skyrocket. So why is it that when oil prices decrease rapidly, the price at the pump has barely dropped? Greed. Greed from the Big Oil corporations, who are unfairly driving up the costs on hardworking American families.

Production is higher than it was in 2018, so no, it isn't down compared to then. Stop being obtuse.

That's nice sweetie. Production still has not recovered from a production high of 13.2 million barrels.

Well don't you worry about it... President Biden saw the error of his ways and has opened the leases up for sale after stopping them on his first day in office. Jen Psycho even claimed that next year, oil production in the US will reach record levels.

So, the administration finally is starting to see that their policies have had a detrimental effect on the country and are now starting to correct them back.

Hopefully, the Easter Bunny won't step in and stop him from doing the right thing.

You are purposely dodging the entire point. Production is still higher than 2018 and every year prior, yet prices are ridiculously higher. Again, it is not a production issue.
