If there's one thing the federal government is famous for is reneging on treaties and land contracts with Native Americans and former slaves. But it was super great when giving free land to Europeans.
    Which law was that, specifically?

They literally started relocating slaves to the land, then Lincoln was assassinated and then they evicted the former slaves off the land.

Maybe we need to change the term "Indian giver" to "European giver".

30% of the US land mass is blocked from human development (640 million acres). In theory, that's enough land for 2 acres for every man woman and child in the US.

A portion of that land needs to be given to slave descendants and a new homestead act, another portion needs to be privatized for natural resources. The money from the sale of that land would be used to fund grants for homesteaders and tribal nations as well as pay down our debt.

Our school system needs upgraded, our classrooms are nearly a century old.

    Our infrastructure needs updated.
We need a Manhattan style project alongside a national work program, including a national healthcare system that's not an insurance scam.
I can agree that our school system needs an update. Around here where I live not many classrooms are that old but there is a host of other issues that should be addressed. Infrastructure definitely needs improvement.

What form of national healthcare do you think would actually be a good idea? I could be mistaken but it seems like the bulk of the research and development happens in the US or with US money because we don't have national healthcare the way a lot of European and other countries have.

Black people spend nearly 300 years under slavery in the US and this is you:
No one is owed anything. Life is what you make of it.
(When the party of Lincoln doesn't want to be the party of Lincoln)

But you got me on word games.

Public access and expansion of the veterans medical system with backing from Med students and a national work program.

Do you believe that veterans have earned a healthcare system that is above that of regular citizens?

    a national work program.
Work? That doesn't sound like a program you would want to participate in or even support.

The VA does in fact provide far superior medical services when compared to what most of the rest of us in the US are getting.

No. Not if the requirement to receive healthcare is to go die in a war for rich psychopaths

I certainly wouldn't work for you, PB "you are owed nothing after 300 years of slavery" bandit.
