Local Lukoil gas stations feel sting of Russia backlash

tl;dr: This fascist city council in NJ voted to effectively shut down two gas stations in their city, claiming they are indeed fighting fascism because the company is based in Russia. Never mind the fact that these two particular gas stations are franchises owned by an American, the gas stations employ Americans, and they buy gas from an American refinery not too far from said gas stations of which I'm going to assume the oil being refined is also not from Russia.

This is the problem with people "wanting to do something", they'll "do something" no matter how little sense it makes.

Yeah really. When does the US and the world ban Facebook?

It's especially funny because certain lawmakers were accusing Facebook of doing Russia's bidding because supposedly Facebook wasn't doing enough to "combat misinformation" from Russia, and now Russia is banning Facebook.
