Correct. Unless the EU decides this it won’t happen.

Numerous countries have declared their support, though. Italy just recently.

A dose of realism. Ukranian soldiers cannot stop Russia's military invasion. There is no point for Ukranian soldiers to waste their lives. In the unlikely event that Ukrainians kill 5 Russian soldiers for every Ukranian killed, what have they accomplished? Nothing. And the more likely outcome is the opposite, considering Russia's highly trained and equipped military. Calls for Western countries to send arms to Ukraine are misplaced. Ukraine is handing out rifles to citizens who've never shot a gun before and who certainly have no training for combat. That's lunacy.

To Ukrainians, I would say, if you can afford to leave Ukraine, then do so. If not, then the better course of action would be docility for the moment. Russia cannot maintain its current troop levels in Ukraine forever. A time for rebellion will come, perhaps in a few years or perhaps in a few decades.

Keep sending information about conditions in Ukraine to the outside world. The West will start a new arms race to force Russia to spend more than it can afford. Perhaps, as in the 1980s, Russia will collapse from overextending itself.

Not surprised you would be promoting the cowardly approach to this.

They said the same thing about Finland not having any chance in hell in the Winter War, but they put up a heavy resistance. The Russians eventually won (technically) but it was very costly & embarrassing for the Red Army.

Edit to add: Kalashnikov rifles were designed so that any illiterate conscript could figure out how to use it effectively and be a force multiplier.

That's how he survived being run over by a tank in the first place.

    Masks > tanks.

If he died though, would it be considered a covid death?

You're an idiot. Props to the balls on a lot of these Ukrainians. That response back to the Russian warship was perfect.

Real question. Why aren't the Russians using their new equipment? Is the idea use the 80s technology until it's all knocked out? Seems weird seeing them use all the old shit

Most of the Russian military doesn't have the new shit. A few units can be considered close to par with ours, but most of them are very shittily armed.
