That trucker situation is fucking polarizing.

1) I agree with em even if I'm 3 times vacced. The "free" health system protection the Government imposed with all the liberty restrictions, the obligation to wear the mask and to show vaxx passport when going to do your shopping sux.

But.... Our communist free healthcare needs it. It cannot manage tons of sick people. The government is forced to take actions otherwise (and it's happening) we're forced to "delestage" ( not operating lesser urgent people). Cancer people are waiting like crazy, some non u rgent operations too and so on.

So it's fucking hard to take a position. I'm still glad they did it. Some liberties are given back.

This is why a fully managed Government Health Care system should scare the bejesus out of anyone. It's not that it's not a nice concept, it is. Free cokes and lollipops for everyone! The problem is... humans run the system... humans are fallible... and as these past few years (and history as a whole) has shown... People are power hungry assholes, who when given positions of power, tend to try and subjugate others.

That is why rational people are against "mandates" and Government overreach. If you give Government full control, there is no longer personal choice. You would think humans would have figured that out by now... but for some reason people keep thinking it's a "go along, get along" type thing. Maybe deep down, humans just like being dominated.
