The coming recession is going to be really bad and worse for poor and blue collar working class people. Why do Democrats hate poor people so much?

CA has the highest minimum wage in the nation. Can a person pay for all the basic needs in CA on $14.00 an hour?

The cutoff for food assistance in CA for a single person is $1064 a month. You can't work more than 20 hours a week at minimum wage in CA before losing benefits.

This is demonstration that even the most wAcKy LiBtArD states are still run by centrists at best. A living wage for a single adult with no children in CA is about $19/hr. Heaven forbid those dirty poors have any kids!

Should we adjust it based on cost of living? Perhaps! Or maybe we should let the low income people who live in shitty states with low costs of living reap the same benefits that their rich rulers do? Seems kind of fair to me.
