"Bernie Sanders says a big tax break for the wealthy is out of the Biden spending bill, triggering pushback from moderates threatening to derail the entire package"

"Last week, Reps. Josh Gottheimer of New Jersey, Tom Suozzi of New York, and Mikie Sherill of New Jersey issued a statement threatening to oppose the sprawling health, climate, and safety-net spending bill if it didn't include the tax cut."

"Sen. Bob Menendez of New Jersey tried teaming up with Sanders last month to negotiate a compromise but the pair haven't struck a deal so far."

What's so funny you ask? The media labelling the four DEMOCRATs they mentioned as "moderates"... ROFL

What's even more funny you say? They neglect to add the peoples Party Affiliation, in the article, that oppose the removal SALT from the bill.... all democrats... ROFL...

I don't agree with Bernie on much, but on this I do. Shameful how the media manipulates the articles though... so blatant it's sad... LOL.

By this logic this certainly applies to Grassley (40 years) and mcconnell (36 years).

I mean we’re talking Iowa and Kentucky here.

If we can't have term limits, then anyone older than 70 shouldn't be allowed to remain in office. And 70 is a generous number.

If they turn 70 while in office, then maybe let them finish their term or something, but that's it.

Also, Iowa isn't a real place.

I agree with everything you said.

I’ve never actually met anyone from Iowa. No proof it exists.

Iowa, the state that your education was measured against.

Iowa, if it exists, is filled with people who are aware of places like the east coast, California and Hawaii, yet chose to settle in the asshole of America. Allegedly.

    Clearly a lack of intelligence.

Why did you just pick out Republicans?

    What about these Democrats?

    Leahy (47 years)
    Markey (45 years)
    Wyden (41 years)
    Schumer (41 years)
    Hoyer (40 years)
    Durbin (39 years)
    Kaptur (39 years)

Personally, I am for term limits to anyone serving in Congress.

3 terms. Once that's done, you can run for another office.

Agreed. Term limits and remove the ability to trade stocks while in office.
