No no! The best way to lower oil prices in the US is to piss off the largest bloc of oil producers and forbid our oil producers from selling to a worldwide market.

Because as every first year economist will tell you less supply and more demand equals lower prices, on a related note fewer customers to sell your product to also equals lower prices.

A smaller market means less demand, there's that math thing again. Yet oil producers still know they'll sell every barrel they produce but will do it without fleecing Americans for obscene profits

The global petro market doesn't just cease to exist if the US stops exports. Who do you think is going to fill that void?

    You're a fucking idiot.

Do you know how the oil market works? Like at all?

Oh yeah! Thanks for reminding me of the other thing every first year economist will tell you: less competition is the surest way to ensure prices will drop!

Let's cut off oil imports and rely on just a handful of US oil producers, that will surely lower prices!

Let me guess, you also want to go old school Carter and implement price controls on gasoline, because that worked out oh so well in the 70's.

And Seran has the audacity to say I'm a Russian operative. There's that projection again.

Who benefits if there is less oil in the global supply? Russia.

Who benefits if countries have to rely more on Russian and OPEC oil? Russia.

Who benefits due to disruptions of the global oil market that Seran is proposing? Russia.

Stop shilling for Putin, Seran. You're almost as bad as what's his name.

You do realize that ban was over in 2015 right... prior to President Trump getting into office.

Maybe it's something else... something you are missing.... that forced the price of oil to go dramatically up in 2021...

What could it be........ what could it be.....

I'm happy to see another item I agree with Seran on - the America first agenda to increase US oil production and American independence.

You still skirt around the point that US oil companies are producing FAR LESS than they have just a year ago.

The drop in production DIRECTLY correlates with the raise in prices. The export ban ended nearly 6 years ago, so it probably isn't that.
