The same way I get 50 representatives establishing tax policies and independently enforcing them.

Here's a hint: Represent, tax and enforce.

You went from implying wrongly that the g20 agreement is establishing a worldwide tax enforcement agency, to crying about the way the Senate passes bills? Not only are you still wrong and inconsistent, but now a hypocrite for not saying the same when Trump and the Republican Senate passed the corporate welfare and 1% wealth protection tax cuts

    Lol.

Trump and Republicans implemented some of the biggest tax increases on the wealthy by capping the SALT deductions at 10k and now Democrats are fighting fiercely to bring those deductions back. Your party is shit and the only way they win any elections anymore is by brainwashing gullible rubes like you into thinking they are doing the opposite of what they really do.

I'm not in the 1% and I saved money because of the tax cuts.

    A great deal of money.

Dude. You not only move the goalpost, you moved to an entirely different stadium.

I think I was taking home about $50 more a week. I think that was the first time in my life that tax policy made my net take home larger.

I was able to hire 2 more people and expand a business because of the cuts.

Subsequently, I had to lay 1 of them off during covid (the other one left for a better opportunity) and contract that business a bit.

Capping the SALT deduction was NOTHING compared to the reduction of the top marginal rate nor the exemption for pass through profits on S Corporations.

Says the guy whose original quoted post was not only exposed as wrong, but not lies to try and claim he was talking about something else.

Except, you know, you're wrong. If Democrats get rid of the SALT cap 97% of the people who benefit are in the top 20% of earners and it will cost the federal government 100 billion dollars a year.

And this is just a deduction, you know, those things people like you love to call "legal tax avoidance" or "loopholes." This isn't even just reducing the rate people owe.
