Of the 11-12 million immigrants here illegally, for the most part those who are of working age do so and support their families. If we were to simply deport the lot of them, business and the housing markets would feel the repercussions. So why not a definitive course to citizen in terms of naturalization. If you're self-supporting, have not committed a crime since entering and have taken steps to learn the language, a fast track to probationary citizenship should be granted. I hear the concerns about swelling voter rolls but don't necessarily think so many will automatically lean left. But as a compromise, lets say the first 3-5 years of the probationary citizenship will not grant voting privileges. At the end of the fourth year, provided the person continues to be self-supporting and paid taxes, then full citizenship and the associated rights ought to be granted.

So, you DID see amnesty for illegals which is soft on crime along with all the hand wringing about social justice which is just another Leftist dog whistle for "let minorities commit crimes because they are oppressed. You DID see "tax increases on the rich" which has always amounted to an across the board tax increase and always caused economic damage, destroyed small business and recession/depression. You DID see talk about reparation's. All of this WAS on the campaign but you were too stupid to understand the real meaning of it all and too ignorant of history to believe that anything else would be the outcome and too blinded by mean tweets because the media told you to be mad about it all in the name of Orange Man Bad. How about this has been offered with a path to citizenship along with fines since they ARE criminals in the first place and you and all the Leftist shitbags in Congress have screamed your childish heads off that it's "RACIST". Fuck off.

How about we go with "foreign worker status" that doesn't include voting rights but allows the path to citizenship through naturalization, end birth right citizenship, fine them for being here in the first place and make felony and violent/sexual misdemeanor conviction immediately deportable offence, do not pass go, you are gone never to return. Then we make it also a deportable offense for any of them caught driving without a license and insurance. And NO, no fucking fast track, that shits all over the people who worked hard, paid their dues and earned the right to be a US citizen the right way.

Lastly, you are right when you said "I don't think" when you commented about the voter rolls since the polling is clear that an overwhelming majority would vote Democrat and every major poll ever done in the last 20 years on the subject is the same.

So your claim that raising taxes on the wealthiest people in this country causes other taxes to go up and causes economic damage runs absolutely counter to the real economic history of our nation (and every other nation on earth by the way). Raising national taxes on the wealthy has never turned into higher taxes on others- that's like saying giant investments in funding rounds always leads to employees being paid less.
