Can they though? If they're gerrymandered? Put all the people who want non-gerrmandered districts into one district and spread everybody else out over the remaining districts.
Houses have always been fireproof, take my word for it.

An Alaska state senator has asked to be excused from going to work because the only available airline has banned her for refusing to keep her mask on. Some people feel too entitled to have to follow the same rules as everybody else. If your job requires you to fly, try asking your boss to be excused for four months because you've been banned for refusing to wear a mask.

JUNEAU — Eagle River Republican Sen. Lora Reinbold has asked to be excused from legislative business in the state Capitol, telling fellow lawmakers that her ban from Alaska Airlines makes it impossible to fly into Juneau.

If citizens care enough they'll vote those partisans out of office right?

Why is it you seemed to downplay gerrymandering when Democrats were doing it or benefiting from it but now suddenly "ZOMG! The majority will keep themselves the majority!!!"

....yes. People still have the right to vote even in "gerrymandered" districts. I know you put up some really dumb ass posts, but come on, this is way beyond dumb even for you.

Ah I see. So gerrymandering that benefits Democrats is okay as long as it's a committee. Please don't use "non-partisan" committee when you know damn well 4 of the people on the committee are Democrats and 4 are Republicans. You do know what "non-partisan" means right?

Is there really anything that is a "non-partisan committee" though?

Or do they just call themselves that so people like you can defend them?
