I don't think you're thinking this through. We know what happened after the fact. What do you think it was like for them as it was going down?

All they knew at the time was 10,000 people, many in combat gear, got past the armed guards and literally broke into into the Capitol chanting death threats.

Thankfully what guards they did have managed to hold them off so they could escape. But that crowd made it to the chamber and their offices. One guard who led them away from the chamber, Goodman, probably saved some lives that day.

They are continuing to get death threats. Their families are getting death threats. This is both parties.

Safety tunnels for schools is a great idea. You could build one for your house I assume.

I'm as much for taking the power away from the ultra wealthy as anyone else but the way to do that is through voting. I vote for people who I think will enact and enforce the laws I agree with. Democrats get my vote because I see republicans making laws to protect the corporate interest rather than the interests of actual everyday citizens.

There is currently no reason to start an armed uprising in America. The only real justification for an armed uprising is against illegal physical oppression.
