Why does one always have to educate right-wingers while simultaneously debating them? No, that soundbite -- presented with no context -- was from Fauci in January 2020, of the NIH, not the CDC, and he was talking about actions the average person had to worry about at that point, emphasizing that the CDC and DHS were doing what they needed to do, not to "worry," but to "take it seriously" and stay tuned to the CDC and DHS.
