I was just trying to show that the capitol incident was more cut and dry than the rittenhouse one. The only direct similarities is that someone advanced on someone with a gun, just about everything else is different.

I can see where you're coming from in the cut and dry. She wasn't supposed to be there. If there was an audio message played over speakers telling people to stand down and leave and she decided to go towards a likely secured area, it's like trying to run the gate at a military base. You cross that line, there's not gonna be a whole lot of questions asked.

That being said, perceived threat and all that is a grey area. If secret service agents feel it's a split second decision though, that's just not going to end well as we saw.

Plenty of flag waving door kicking retards catching charges, but I'm seeing very few in positions of authority catching charges so far. There had to have been lets call it at least a half dozen high level law enforcement officials involved to stand down a variety of the usual security measures that are typically in place there for an event like this. Those persons are the ones in need of charging. The ones who made the capitol extra vulnerable that day for the "wild" rally.
