Freedom... is the ability to challenge yourself far beyond the constraints of traditional rule and order. We draw strength from our passions... we're driven by desire... even hatred can be a worthy ally when used against an enemy... and yet, we are told to turn our backs on these things... the very feelings, emotions... that make us all... human.
The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane. ~ Marcus Aurelius“It's a beautiful thing, the destruction of words.”
― George Orwell, 1984
“The urge to shout filthy words at the top of his voice was as strong as ever.”
― George Orwell, 1984

Look, I like you. You seem a decent, thinking human being. What the hell are you doing in the politics folder on PC? What do you get out of this besides abuse? Serious question."
As a famous chief financial officer once put it, in this climate? It's Hail Mary time.
Do I think the loudest people will be convinced the truth? No.
Do I think any people will be convinced by the truth? No.
But I could be wrong - there's a first time for everything!
And we as a nation are at a tipping point.
We're so close to disaster AND so close to pulling back from the edge.
Since I'm researching this stuff anyway, posting it here has no downside for me.
Every day we see the thousands of deaths and hundreds of thousands of cases, and none of us can save them all.
But none of us has to save them all.
No single person killed four million Nazis, but we won World War 2.
No single person filled the National Mall, but we secured civil rights.
No single person engineered space flight, but we landed a man on the moon and returned him safely to earth.
We can rise to this great challenge of our time, each of us in our small everyday lives, each of us with our small everyday choices.
So if the truth nudges a couple more to make a couple more of those choices, and all I have to do is read that Parkbandit has a low opinion of me, I mean... that's as easy a call as wearing a mask in public during a global respiratory pandemic.

America, stop pushing. I know what I'm doing.
See, some people just don't get it...almost twenty years of the PC and you develop a thick skin to rival a rhino's.
We must not confuse dissent with disloyalty. We must remember always that accusation is not proof and that conviction depends upon evidence and due process of law. We will not walk in fear, one of another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason, if we dig deep in our history and our doctrine, and remember that we are not descended from fearful men. Edward R. Murrow

Do you think either Latrinsorm or the fake person who sent him the fake rep actually knows this whole "On The" meltdown series on mental healthcare needs, isn't in the politics folder?"
No.. no I do not.
Also, I don't have a low opinion of you. I honestly want you to just get properly medicated. You've always posted in the same manner.. which leads to me to believe you are extremely socially awkward and afraid of your own shadow. That is no way to live your life and there really are drugs out there that can probably help you.

Of course they're not in the politics folder, the virus is not political.
The virus kills Democrats, my fellow Republicans, and miscellaneous alike.
The only way for us to overcome it is in uniting Democrats, my fellow Republicans, and miscellaneous alike.
The vaccine enjoys broad approval and in ~9 months that would probably be enough to succeed.
But where I come from, Americans don't wait around to have success handed to them.
Where I come from, Americans are willing to make small sacrifices for each other.
Where I come from, Americans aren't afraid of hard work.
I come from the United States of America.
From the halls of New York City
To the shores of Texas state
To the spacious skies of Montana
To the amber waves of Kansas
To the purple mountains of Alberta
The curvaceous slopes of California
The Stone Mountain of Georgia
Every hill and molehill in Ottawa
Every village and hamlet
Every state
Every city
Every one of us are God's children, and every one of us can speed up that blessed day when we can once again join hands and sing.
If you can honestly look at this grand experiment renewed in the face of global calamity and only see politics, I pity you.
