Mexico is not paying for any of the wall in any way.
So where is Mexico going to get that business? Of there were such great and plentiful markets for them, don't you think they would be out there already? Everyone wants to sell to use because we have money. Economically, a lot of other countries don't have the ability to buy as much product, shipping costs are higher to them from Mexico and so aren't as competitive. Facts are facts, they will be hurt by continuing this crap and tariffs can have a punishing effect on their economy and they know it. Why else would they take steps to prevent the convoys of invaders?

Why do you always push leftists vs rightist? I’m in the middle, I support a lot of what trump does, and also disagree with a lot that he does. I don’t look at things strictly liberal or conservative
I didn't say one damn thing about you yet you take it as about you. Ego much?

I think everyone here except you, can see that the US is paying for the wall.. not Mexico.
    Even Fox admits it: https://www.google.com/amp/s/thinkpr...6f995126b/amp/
Fox also have commentators saying that the Trump impeachment is the right thing. Unlike the Left, I can actually disagree with the predominate news media that generally supports my positions most of the time. The Left is far more in lock step with their overlords marching orders.

Personally I think the wall is a waste of money, it could be used better ways to stop illegal immigrants and drugs being brought into the country.
Really, because we have spent a shit ton of money trying to stem the flow of invaders, drugs and squatters from crossing the border so far and they have employed all the latest technology, after all Obama and Hillary said so. It has already had a chilling effect and there are some dramatic visible effects from locations where it has been built. Walls work, they are not perfect, they do work and so far nothing else has cut human trafficking across the border better than a good solid wall.

End of the day, we are all immigrants, I don’t support illegal immigrants. But I do wish we had a better process for immigrants to enter the country legally.
Really, you are a naturalized citizen? If so congratulations, good job following the law. I was born here, my parents were born here, my grandparents were born here so I am not an immigrant. "We are all immigrants" is an intellectually lazy Leftist lie perpetrated to endear sympathy to criminals that flaunt our laws just to come here and continuing it as an argument is just bad.

We can agree that we need a better process for immigration and I believe we need less of it. Too bad both parties, when they have control of the Congress and Presidencey failed to pass through some real reform and instead focused on cramming an unconstitutional insurance scam down our throats and then spent 2 years fapping off and letting a bitter RINO child fail to vote to remove it with some "death bed" theatrics just because he wanted to put a personal grudge ahead of the country he swore to protect.

BTW, simple way to make Mexico and Central America pay for the wall quickly, 2% tax on all person to person money transfers leaving the US destined to Central and South America and the Caribbean with a couple million dollar fine for each occurrence of failure to collect the tax and any kind of sheltering or avoidance of the tax. Bam, paid for. Since there were a couple of years where cash flow from transfers to Mexico accounted for over 1/2 of their GDP I would say that would indeed make them pay for the wall.

I have no idea where Mexico is going to get anything, I don’t follow their economy much, but that doesn’t change the fact, they aren’t indirectly paying for the wall.

Yes you didn’t say one damn thing about me, but you made that comment in a reply to me, that implies you are also talking about me.
We all come from immigrants, is what I was implying. (Except the Indians)

No, I’m not a naturalized citizen, I was born in the states. My mom immigrated here from South Korea, legally and the correct way almost 50 years ago, she’s completely American now (even has trouble remembering some korean) but she’s said she’s been shouted at “get out of our country” that’s what pisses me off about illegal immigrants, is that it effects legal immigrants and American citizens. But What I was implying, we all came from immigrants. It even says in our passport. It is immigrants, who brought to this land the skills of their hands and the brains to make of it a beacon of opportunity and hope for all men”

Yup we can agree, the immigration process definitely needs to be improved, my wife is Russian, and the process for her to get citizenship was long and very difficult... but it is what it is... and complete worth it.

I’m glad you thought of a solution to make them pay for the wall, would it work, I haven’t done the math to see if it’s feasible. But as of now... Mexico ain’t and hasn’t paid for the wall... at all

Again, that whole we are all immigrants is bullshit because by that thought we can go back to the fact that humans spread out from our origins and so every human on the planet is likely an immigrant by that definition. Come from immigrants maybe and it's a null argument. If we are a society of people who can make our own way, then each person should be measured on their actions and not the actions of their ancestors. Otherwise we can then go back to judging people by all kinds of past atrocities.

The rest is your admitted ignorance on the whole issue.

If that’s your opinion on it and what you think, so be it, I respect it!

But sadly we are in a society that judges people based on where they are from, color of their skin or their religion, not on actions.

I disagree. There are some in society that do this, but society as a whole is much more accepting than the news would make you think. PEOPLE are very accepting of others. The News is not. Liberal Hollywood is not. Democrats are not.

We're all from the same place. Plant Earth. The sooner we stop fighting each other the sooner we can get on with the business of populating the stars.
