What exactly are you referring to with your post? There's clearly two factions of Democrats, the unapologetic Socialists and the Establishment-Moderates. The Socialists are pushing a severe left-wing agenda which is heedless of the actual political climate. The Moderates are falling all over themselves courting leftist Republicans and non-radical progressives, trying desperately to tap into the far left of their flank, but getting burned every time they try.

What's scary about the Democrat party is their self-destructive political correctness. One of their house members sleeps with a married staffer before she got to congress and they were screaming for her head. Meanwhile Duncan out of San Diego served for a year while under indictment for embezzlement and campaign finance and he was -just fine-. Where the lefties are failing is thinking destroying gun rights and our police forces because of their -usually- correct response to violence in the inner cities in order to court the African American vote. Guess what, African Americans don't like crime anymore than anyone else does. Just as the majority of naturalized Hispanics are disgusted by the idea of granting rights/amnesty to illegal immigrants.
