I'll 100% agree with you this is a bad move on Trump's part if Turkey attacks the Kurds and he doesn't retaliate in someway.

But if Trump does retaliate, or Trump's threats are enough to thwart Turkey's ambitions to begin with, then you should agree it's a good move on Trump's part, but that probably won't happen so I'll continue breathing.
