The El Paso shooter has proved otherwise.

Trump, with the largest platform in the world, has consistently stoked resentment and fear of brown people during his campaign and time in office. A white nationalist targeted a place he thought immigrants would be at, the same immigrants Trump has lied about since before the election, and murdered 22 unarmed innocent people with a weapon that was banned between 1994 and 2004 and that his own mother thought he should not have. I don't think he checked for ID, legal documents, or anything to verify that he was killing immigrants instead of legal US citizens. He did see the color of their skin though.

This is the current atmosphere of America. No one is more safe.
