BREAKING: A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit by the Democratic National Committee against key members of the Trump campaign, Russia and WikiLeaks over hacked DNC emails.
A federal judge in frank terms has dismissed a lawsuit by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) against key members of the Trump campaign and WikiLeaks over hacked DNC emails, saying they "did not participate in any wrongdoing in obtaining the materials in the first place" and therefore bore no legal liability for disseminating the information.
The ruling came as Democrats have increasingly sought to tie the Trump team to illegal activity in Russia, in spite of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's findings that the campaign in fact refused multiple offers by Russians to involve them in hacking and disinformation efforts.

So um California is being California again. Signing into law that Presidents have to give their tax returns before being put on the ballot (other candidates too) first off California isn't going to be won by Trump so why add yourself there. Also the constitution doesn't allow that. One last thing didn't California leave the United States?
Well, this'll be an interesting, impossible battle for California.
That is actually tricky. The current Supreme Court might strike that down, but a different one might not. States select electors, and electors vote for the President. You don't. You vote to tell the elector to vote for this guy. One could assume, then, that the state could completely remove you from the equation and have the electors vote as they please. This is actually how it used to be in the beginning in some states.
Anyways, different states DO have different qualifications to appear on the ballot. This is just another.

SCOTUS recently ruled that Trump couldn't add the citizenship question to the census, not because they didn't think he had the authority to as president, but rather because they questioned his motive for wanting to put the question on the ballot.
Maybe Roberts (I think that is the right leaning judge who voted with the left leaning judges) is actually thinking 10 steps ahead and plans to use the same reasoning for why California and other left leaning states can't add this requirement for appearing on a ballot, because these lawmakers have made it painfully clear the only reason they are adding this requirement is because they hate Trump and want to try and embarrass him.
If Roberts doesn't vote against California after that laughable excuse for the census question then he is just going to prove he's another activist judge that is quickly turning left leaning.
