I think we've entered the timeframe where a scandal actually helps politicians. Fucked up, but it really is looking that way.

Avenatti is a bigger piece of shit than I thought.

He's on Twitter posting a document supposedly from the paraplegic man in question in which the client says what a great attorney Avenatti is.

The thing is part of the evidence for that case shows Avenatti had his client sign that by stating it was a required document before the client could start receiving his settlement.

What an absolute shitbag.

So he takes on the case of a special needs man, at some point decides to steal the man's settlement money, lies to the man by saying he needs to sign a document stating what a great attorney he is but in reality he's using this document in case he's ever caught to show the man thinks Avenatti was a good lawyer, then after he is caught he posts this document all over Twitter instead of waiting for the trial so he can hopefully poison any potential jury members.

Saddest part of all is I still think he's a better man than Androidpk.

Holy shit! It's worse than I thought! If I'm understanding this correctly the settlement was years ago but Avenatti kept the money. The document in question was signed just a few weeks ago.

So the scumbag Avenatti had the millions of dollars for years, was apparently spending it, and kept stringing the disabled man along saying "Don't worry, the money is coming." Then a few weeks ago (probably after his arrest in the Nike scandal thinking the feds might start snooping around for more potential crimes) he gets his client to sign that document stating it was necessary in order for the man to start collecting his money.

What an absolute waste of oxygen. I also love that he thinks this is a legit defense. "I'm gonna steal from my friend, but before I do so I'm going to trick him into signing a document stating what a great friend I am. Then if shit hits the fan I have a non-notarized document showing the victim thinks I'm a great friend. In the clear!"

Still though, he's a better person than Androidpk.
