The statement that there are 12 million more registered democrats than republicans is still true regardless. This is from a majority of states 31 plus DC.

The statement that there are 12 million more registered Democrats in those 31 states + DC is certainly correct, but this does not mean the numbers would hold up if we included all 50 states. Do you really think states like Texas and Georgia not being included in this figure aren't skewing the results in favor of Democrats?

Also note the large number of registered Independents in those states. In some states there are more Independents than both Republicans and Democrats. In reality a lot of people will register as Independent, even though they are really Republican or Democrat, because they don't want people to know they are really a Democrat or Republican. In states like California it would make sense that a Republican would be more willing to hide the fact they are a Republican than it would be for a Democrat to do the same, seeing as how rational people such as Antifa are when they find out someone is a Republican.

When you take into account the states that don't register voters, sure, some of the big republican states will bring up the number of republicans but they will also bring up the numbers of the democrats. The same for the midwest industrial states.

Look at that and also look at the amount of votes for either party in 2016 and 2018 and there are clearly more democrats than republicans in this country currently. By millions.
