It's like term limits.. most intelligent people are for them.. but they will never get voted on and passed because you are basically voting out people who have made a career out of being scumbag politicians.
A lot of states have jungle primaries, such as mine. I think it would be great. Maine actually used Ranked Choice last election for both primaries.

It actually makes it better for all concerned, because it is harder to split a vote. So you could have Hillary, Bernie, and Trump running at the same time, and Hillary wouldn't lose votes to Bernie and vice versa.

The only way it would ever pass is if it exempted the people who are currently in office. Which would be better than nothing short term, and good for long term once they all retire/die/get pwned from office, etc.

Honestly, both parties should be for it. They wouldn't have to worry about third parties, like Libertarians or Socialist swooping in with their candidates and swiping votes. Ross Perot a problem? Not anymore! Bernie Sanders running as an I? No big deal!

George H.W. Bush would have won a second election with this system.

I've been for term limits at the Federal level. But I'm talking about presidential elections.

No, he was talking about changing the election system. He said "It's like" to speak about term limits. Term limits would undoubtedly require an amendment to the Constitution because Congress would probably never pass that as an Act.

What’s that shitty vodka in the states? McCromicks or something? Russian vodka is absolute horse piss, it makes the worst vodka in the states the best tasting drink ever. Shit is cheaper than water here! Most Russians prefer JD
Although, I’m sure if it was used to solve problems, they are probably right and most issues would be solved much easier!
