Well I'm furious with what the GOP has done so far but I don't put blame on Trump. I think Ryan and McConnell need to go. That said, tax cuts are in effect (which is positive) and hopefully most Americans won't be affected by the next recession to hit (later this year or early 2019).

Both Trump and the GOP leadership are to blame. I don't know about the Senate but it's highly likely the Dems will take the House.

If these rights were sacred then trump supporters would kick him in the balls for attacking journalism and protesting athletes the way he does. I've also never seen jacked up pick ups flying the Molon Labe flag out there protesting DUI checkpoints. Manafort is clutching at straws here. I believe his tenant or someone let the FBI into the shed?

Um, the fact that time4fun came back after calling this forum and the people in it a bunch of meanie heads and contends with PB in a daily battle of posts does show that he made her upset.

The recent poll for Corker's seat has added a glimmer of hope for the Dems. Also, there's an increasing chance that McCain will end up retiring, and AZ is definitely in purple territory right now. Add to that the fact that the GOP nominee in West Virginia may be that crazy guy who just got out of jail, and you've got a moonshot chance here.

None of these are things I would take to the bank- the Dems are still going to be lucky to break even. But...things are shifting pretty rapidly right now.

A Mueller report pre-election in either direction is likely to energize the GOP base though. That's a potentially significant X factor that no one is really accounting for right now.
