He is entitled to the process. If the agent violated his 4th amendment right he has every right and opportunity to challenge it in court.

Mueller is doing the same thing. He is stretching the process out as much as possible for the midterms.

And it's troubling you give a conditional statement about whether or not the rights are sacred. The 4th amendment is extremely important but it's not surprising to me that liberals such as yourself want to dismantle that one too. There's no IF about that in my book.
The rights have all been "dismantled" then (except for quartering troops perhaps). Same problem as the bible. If they were divine rights then we'd all agree on what they mean and wouldn't need a court to ponder on the meanings. That's beside the point though. Manafort should vigorously defend himself. He should fight the evidence and the government. I think he'll lose and I'm rooting against him.

The investigation is moving at a rapid pace, especially compared to previous special counsel investigations.

I don't think he's stretching. I agree with Gingrich and the Republicans. Mueller is gonna call balls and strikes. Besides, it's not even up to him to release anything about trump. If Rosenstein gets the report in Oct. they can leak that trump's a crook, trump's exonerated or they can actually release the report. Both sides can play it anyway they want and if it does exonerate trump the GOP will benefit greatly in elections.

Really curious as to what Mueller got in the March raid that's got Manafort so spooked.

Yes technically it's up to Rosenstein but from what I gather Mueller could force his hand. If he were to recommend charges against Trump that weren't allowed, Rosenstein would be required to brief Congress.

I don't believe that for a minute. Information on the investigation will be strategically released to maximize every opportunity to diminish support for the GOP during the midterm elections.

I try not to get my hopes up. IMO it's just lawyers being lawyers. I hope it's some real solid evidence though.

Ya, dems and republicans. They'll leak/spin it before they even get out of the briefing room.

What changed? Mueller was "the man" there for a while. All the GOP sang his praises as a straight shooter. He's not been doing press conferences or leaking. Why now do the republicans attack him and the FBI so much?
