A war with North Korea is a de facto war with China and eventually Russia as well, most layman person and Americans just don't understand this. It's why a North Korean or North China conflict as it were will never happen because it's effectively a prelude to World War 3.

The Chinese government is siding on Trump on this one.
I think over the course of the past 8 years people have forgotten that the US holds a lot of influence in the world and the rest of the world (mostly) looks to the US for leadership.
If our stance on North Korea is just more "Let's wait and see" then the rest of the world will take the same stance.
If our stance on North Korea changes to "Okay enough is enough" then (most) of the rest of the world will take the same stance.
I'm not saying this as a patriotic American who thinks the US is the greatest, even though it's true, it's just the reality of things.
I'm also not suggesting that the rest of the world is going to join us if we decide to attack North Korea, which I doubt is going to happen anyways, but they will either support us or do the usual public denouncement to score points with their own voters while secretly agreeing with us.
China gains nothing by defending North Korea in this situation and stands to lose a hell of a lot. Same goes for Russia. If Russia thinks they are hurting now because of US and EU sanctions just wait until they side with North Korea over this, or worse yet sends in troops to help the North Korean government.
The aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan is moving to join the USS Carl Vinson off the Korean peninsula.

North Korea's leader issued a new crazy sounding threat against the United States..
North Korea's state-run KCNA news agency said the country's missile launches were a "stern warning to the US," and warned Washington against "believing that its land is safe across the ocean."
"(North Korea) will make the US pay dearly for all the heinous crimes it commits against the state and people of this country," KCNA said.

I'm just glad we have President Trump to respond with the measured reason that is to be expected from a superpower..
You can tell by Trump's body language that he meant it. In fact, his body language suggests that he has reviewed and approved military plans to attack North Korea."North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States," warned Mr. Trump from his golf club in Bedminster.
"They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen," he told reporters. "He has been very threatening -- beyond a normal statement," Mr. Trump said of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. "As I said, they will be met with fire, fury and frankly power the likes of which this world has never seen before."

"The likes of which this world has never seen before." Quick! Somebody make a video compilation of movie villains saying the same thing.
Fire and fury!
Who the hell let Trump watch the latest GoT before giving that presser?
