This is true. Someone's collection account ended up on my credit report and I ended up with a bill in the mail. Thankfully the collections agency eventually listened and realized their fuckup.

I don't think they'll deal with her now that it's gone to collections. I think that's how it works, anyway.

I have the money, I just don't wanna pay for something I paid for 2 years ago. If I really made the mistake, its whatever, but why 2 years?
They aren't allowed to call your work. If they do it again, inform them that it is your work number. If they continue after, file a report with the FTC.

Why they waited 2 years I dunno. It's probably like Gelston said though; they sold your debt and the new owner of the debt is just now getting around to wanting to get paid.

Why the gas company didn't contact you earlier is odd though. Maybe they did and all of that marijuana you smoke made you suffer from some memory loss.
Debts do have a time limit for lawsuits. It is based on state though, and it will still ding your credit.

The assholes who nearly made me miss my flight home after Thanksgiving (if it weren't for kind people in the security line, I would have missed it), actually forged my signature on a credit card receipt and sent that to Amex to fight my dispute. They forged my signature. How does this even happen? Insanity.

Well I think first they grab a pen then they grab the receipt and proceed to sign your name upon said receipt.

But yes, that's fucked up. Heads better roll!

Yeah, Amex reopened the dispute and the rep said they'd take care of it. The funniest part is that it doesn't even look CLOSE to my signature. Not even CLOSE. How did they think they'd get away with it??

They didn't call my work, there is just like... a threat that if I don't respond it is considered consent to call my work, or something. I didn't really read that part, I just called and was like FIX THISSS

    lol

I mean, it was from my "discover yourself" time, maybe I discovered avoiding gas payments too.

    lulz.

I guess that is pretty standard, when I asked the collections lady if she thought that it would be worth me trying to call yankee gas she kind of got really professional and was like, I cannot advise you to contact them, blahblah, blahblah. I called them anyways, the lady at the gas company was the one that actually helped me figure out what was going on and offered help and solutions. The lady from the collections place wanted to set up a $5/week payment plan because I said I don't have the liquid assets at this moment.

(which isn't even really true, but I'd rather wait til my next paycheck to pay it)

i bit into a bagel and felt like my teeth were going to eject from my mouth

Going to the dentist, hopefully today. Fingers crossed my co-worker (shows up) doesn't mind an extended break.

Concrete bagel, or did you have dental issues prior to this bagel?

My wisdom teeth are coming in (like, the skin is all ripped open in the back and I can see the teeth and chunks of food get stuck in the holes) & I "brushed off" all my enamel during my 13-15yr old "MY TEETH NEED TO BE BLEACH WHITE" stage when I brushed my teeth 7+ times a day. I get cavities like nobodies business, I think I need a root canal and like fifteen fillings. (hyperbole). I wanna cry

Maybe have an appointment for 12.
