Well, tonight is the first night of raiding. Trying to do normal tonight and heroic through the rest of the week, might be difficult since there's some rather sketchy info at best on the last couple bosses.

I switched from hunter to brewmaster monk since we had 4 hunters (unnecessary for 20 man Mythic) and our other tank quit. Not quite back to the Cinnamon Bear days, but I do play a big black tauren monk.

Such high expectations. Area 52 only came up about half an hour after our raid time ended (midnight EST). Didn't even step foot in Highmaul today. Fucking Blizzard.

Apparently the new world boss was spawning adds at an exponential rate because of the new instancing they put in to make server populations much higher after the queue-fiasco of a few weeks ago. Started crashing high pop servers left and right. LOL.

I understand Blizzard's desire to buff the potency of crafting gear ... and 'gating' the BoP mats to craft them...

But for mats like 'savage blood' and others, the economics are utterly ridiculous. On Sargeras, they are going for over 2k gold each.

Draenor leather = high priced ... but because there is no longer prospecting, Draenor ore = dirt cheap (nevermind every garrison able to produce ore, adding to supply).

This seems like another "good idea, horrible implementation" thing?

Well....I was actually thinking 2k was pretty cheap. But I made like 700k gold at the end of last expansion selling carries.

Yea, I realize a good portion of the 2k pricing is probably due to the rampant inflation imbedded within the dailies economy.

2k is literally peanuts. It means a 640 epic costs less than 10k, a 655 epic (which is normal mode BoEs) costs around 45k, and the 665 is around 75k. Those prices seem fairly normal to me, considering the last is just a step below Mythic (highest tier) gear, and it's *CRAFTED*.

How does someone new to the game, say Pandaria or fresh with WoD, obtain 75k?

For a game designed to cater to casual players, 75k would necessitate a lot of grinding...
