I don't know, I've lost track. So why did they change the term from "global warming" to "climate change"?

Warming made it seem like the only issue is stuff getting a little hotter. Climate Change is more inclusive of other phenomena that is observed as a result of the increasing temperatures, such as more severe weather patterns, raising sea levels, longer growing seasons, increased pollen production, etc.

- Your liberal conscience compelling you to be as politically correct as possible even when you know the person's gender?

So you explain that the south pole is gaining ice by saying that the north pole is losing ice and this somehow...proves...what again?

It proves that the south pole is an evil capitalist that is getting rich off the back of the poor north pole and leaving it in ruins.

I use neutral terms whenever possible. Humanity vs. Mankind. Congressperson vs Congressman/woman, etc. I don't like making assumptions about other people's gender, especially when I only know them as a name on a forum. As you can probably guess, I don't place much importance on the preservation of the status quo for its own sake. And to answer your question from the other day, no, I am not a "Brony," and I'm not sure what your basis for suspecting I'd enjoy a children's show would be.

Congressperson vs Congressman/woman, etc. I don't like making assumptions about other people's gender, especially when I only know them as a name on a forum. I should probably use more neutral terms at times but I don't use those terms too frequently that I can think of. The Brony thing is a poke at your sexual orientation.
