So using shrinking ice as legitimate evidence of global warming is ok, but using growing ice as legitimate evidence to the contrary isn't?

I don't know why ice loss in the Arctic means one thing and ice gain in the Anarctic means another. I'm not a climatologist. I'm merely pointing out that with absolutely no evidence, you believed Dr. Meier to be a hypocrite. Can you remember any times when you had a similar reaction to anti-climate change scientists?
