You mean that the burden is shifted onto U.S. taxpayers?

In a parallel to how dividends are double-taxed (at the corporate level and then again at the individual level), healthy taxpayers are getting double-taxed (higher premiums & higher taxes to cover the expenses).

As dissenters you should find some level of agreement and put forward a plan. Your group is still hung up on deciding if you want to repeal or repeal and replace. ACA isn't new. It's been around since Obama campaigned. Since then it's gone from an idea to law to successful SCOTUS defense to implementation. It's been 6 years and the right still has no answer.

Why is that? Is no one on that side of the aisle able to lead these citizens? I'd imagine that as a conservative|republican|anti-obama type of person it's got to piss you off.

I may have missed it, and if I did I apologize, but who said that Dr's are required by law to ask about household cleaners?

Do you think that Doctors should be limited by law from asking people about things like household hazards that could and do harm children? Do you want to craft legislation that removes your doctors ability to use his/her judgement when treating patients who are all different?

As soon as I'm elected into Congress I'll put forth a better plan.

Until then I'll tell Congress what's wrong with the current system and demand they find a better solution.

It's like you don't even know what you're saying. I don't think Obamacare will bankrupt the nation but I do think it will negatively affect a lot of people.

The reason it's worse than universal healthcare in "poorer" countries is because it ISN'T universal healthcare. The government can't control costs. Instead we're just forcing more people to pay insurance companies who need to make a profit who then in turn pay hospitals who also want to make a profit and buy drugs from companies who also want to make a profit and they use medical devices from companies who also want to make a profit.

No one is looking ways to cut costs anywhere. Why should they? People have money to burn!

You seriously need to stop being blissfully ignorant on your "facts". There have been multiple plans put forth by the GOP for Healthcare. All you have to do is care enough to look. You may not agree with their plans, but to state that no plan has been put forth makes you look more uninformed than normal.

Why is that? Is no one on that side of the aisle able to lead these citizens? I'd imagine that as a conservative|republican|anti-obama type of person it's got to piss you off.
Keep on herpin' and derpin' through life. One day though, you should try reality.

You believing Obama is a great leader should have been an eye opening experience for you, but you remain blindly following.

You equated laws requiring doctors to ask about guns in the house to "it's the same thing as them asking about cleaners under the sink".

I'm asking for similar laws that makes it the same.

Do you think that Doctors should be limited by law from asking people about things like household hazards that could and do harm children? Do you want to craft legislation that removes your doctors ability to use his/her judgement when treating patients who are all different?
I disagree with laws that force doctors to ask about firearms in the house. It's none of their business, unless there is something (crazy insane parents, domestic violence, etc...) that would create a reason.
