You remember "show your work" from math/science class, right? Real scientists have to do that too. What point in the chain of the report do you find questionable?

The guys who wrote the report in the OP do. They present their case very legibly for scientists, you should give it a read.

At least there is some return. There isn't from just throwing it all in a landfill.

If you want to feel good about yourself and ignore millions of years of data.. pick the one that said "yes".

Or, just be a racist, xenophobe, flat earther and pick the guy who said no.

    The choice is yours.

At my old house we recycled more than we threw away in the regular trash bin but now that I'm out in BFE recycling isn't even an option that's offered (paid or free). We compost and I still recycle but it's gathered up and taken in my trunk to a drop off point close to work.
Usually metal recycling makes money, plastic/glass/paper costs money. You can use cost as a proxy for energy. The cost of recycled paper pulp vs the cost of buying new pulp.

But still, I like trees, so even though we have a shared dumpster at my place of business (though technically its a NNN lease so I pay part of it), I sprung for my own private cardboard recycling dumpster, which does cost me money. If the cardboard pulp could be sold at a profit by the waste company I doubt I'd have to pay for the dumpster (though, it is a very reasonable fee).

I see you still haven't learned how to answer a question.

So I take it you don't do anything at all.

I think Back believes in "Trickle-Down-Global-Warming"

He wants the people at the top to pay for it first I bet, then hopefully it will trickle down to the little people.

After all.. in his words.. he does.. "The Same thing we all do". Which means, he personally, doesn't do anything. He believes in it. Which is funny.. he BELIEVES in it. Yet he doesn't take any personal responsibility to do anything about it.

Hell, I DON'T Believe in it, and ~I~ do more then him to stop it. Why do I do the things I do choose to do? Because 1) I love trees. I usually spend a few weeks a year camping in the woods. Not to mention HOURS on a hillside staring at the changing of the leaves. 2) I like renewable energy because I want the oil to last as long as possible. Personally, I want the US to be the last country with any oil left. That way we dictate terms to the rest of the world.

My problem is all the scientist who say it's going to be 3-4 degree's hotter have been wrong. They make calculation and models off of things that are conjectures. They don't really know how gasses and heat is going to effect the atmosphere. They have theories so they make up a model and run their numbers through it. The model gives high numbers and everyone panics. When they actually test the atmosphere .. wow it's lower then they thought. So now they say it's just a cold spell, it will be hotter just you wait and see.

Ozone depletion is still there and still a problem. It's just been out of out of the spotlight which means it's been out of mind.

So does the US Administration/Military planners.

Part of the involvement in the ME is to ensure that the 'cheap' oil produced there is 'used up' early on.

Actually there is no science that proves this. In fact the earth was warmer 1000 years ago than it is now. It's cooler now then in 1998. But since science can't explain that away with any facts they tell us .. it's just a blip .. believe us.
