Throughout the history of this planet the temps have been hotter and colder. The scientific data shows in the last 100 years the earth has heated up 1 degree. In the last 100 years of the most pollution man could possibly throw at mother earth and it's been 1 degree. Also, that one degree may just be completely natural .. no one really knows. My problem is all the scientist who say it's going to be 3-4 degree's hotter have been wrong. They make calculation and models off of things that are conjectures. They don't really know how gasses and heat is going to effect the atmosphere. They have theories so they make up a model and run their numbers through it. The model gives high numbers and everyone panics. When they actually test the atmosphere .. wow it's lower then they thought. So now they say it's just a cold spell, it will be hotter just you wait and see.
