This fucking thread is making me frown.

You had better pay your guild dues before you forget. You are 113 months behind.
I think it's the usage of "full time student" and "full time job" that is causing the hairs to rise on bob's neck. If you're not taking X credit hours then you're not a full time student, if you're not working X hours then it's not a full time job. No one is saying he's wrong or bad for bettering himself. It's the claim of full time + full time or whatever.
As much as I don't care Delias in many ways - I agree with diethx. He is taking steps to make a better life for himself. Good for him. Haven't paid attention to the hours part, but I think it's a bit snarky to make fun of someone for attending a community college. I sympathsize with how hard it is to balance work, children, and school. I did it, but it was hell..especially at the tender age of 21 when I graduated with two kids when all my buddies got to live the college life.
He didn't say, and he might fit both definitions. I just don't like seeing that used as some sort of measurement of effort or success. It implies that someone who doesn't take at least 4 classes while working at least 35 hours is inferior, except that his classes are at a community college and his job is obviously not very demanding if he has the time to do everything else. Important classes tend to make it impossible to work a lot, and important jobs tend to make it impossible to take important classes.
Razzle them. Dazzle them. Razzle dazzle them.
Normally your typical ego-driven "I'm better than everyone" crap is alright.
Now? You're just being a fuckstick.
If you're going to be that anal about exact hours for work and classes, what exacting measurement do you use to determine if a job or classes are 'important'?

Bob measures success and effort in the size and girth of one's penis.
